Inspirational Quote about Joe Lusk II
... proving his lasting impact on folks he met - including Jared Lyles at the 1996 National Young Leaders Conference...

"It has been 10 years since I have seen him (Joe Lusk II) but I still remember him from that trip. He was one of the nicest, most genuine people I have had an occasion to meet either before or since that time. While you have every reason to be proud of the son and soldier you raised, I regret that the ultimate price was paid in defense of this country. I just wanted to let you know that for every person you know that cares, there are hundreds more that you may never hear from who crossed paths with Joe and were made better for it.
-Jared Lyles of Alabama [from Fallen Heroes Memorial.com]

Alexander Hamilton inspires us with a quote showcasing his passion for freedom:
"There is a certain enthusiasm in liberty, that makes human nature rise above itself, in acts of bravery and heroism."

and
... as quoted in the Broadway musical - Hamilton ...
"If you stand for nothing, what will you fall for?"
